Rescue efforts at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur district have been ramped up to find four missing individuals following a tragic boat accident. Nine people have been confirmed dead, with three children and one adult still unaccounted for. Specialized teams, including army divers and disaster response personnel, are expanding the search perimeter downstream in the Narmada River backwaters.

The search area has been widened to cover a five km radius, with survivors recounting the events leading to the boat capsizing.
As the recovery mission continues, legal proceedings are also underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
