Despite his surprise at receiving the call, he will portray Scytale in the film.
Zendaya humorously mentioned, “I know a guy,” when Pattinson inquired about being part of the ‘Dune’ movies. Pattinson expressed his gratitude, stating, “It was a very unexpected call a few months later. And I kind of did think you had something to do with it.” The British actor also teased about the ambiguity of his character, Scytale, in the movie.
According to reports, Pattinson described Scytale as a character with uncertain allegiances, making him intriguing. He hinted at the character possibly not fitting the conventional mold of a villain. Pattinson expressed excitement about portraying the role, emphasizing its unique nature and remarkable appearance.
