Nationalist Congress Party MLA Rohit Pawar visited the protest site of the Cockroach Janata Party in Delhi to show solidarity with the demonstrators. He backed the movement, criticized the Central government, and demanded the impeachment of the Chief Justice of India (CJI). Pawar condemned the police actions and the use of force against student protesters.

Expressing his support for the protest’s nationwide impact, Pawar labeled it as a satyagraha against systemic failures. He highlighted the protest’s origins from the NEET paper leak and emphasized the growing pressure on the government. Pawar’s visit marked his first appearance at Jantar Mantar for this cause, where he reiterated his backing for the movement.

Pawar also criticized the CJI for recent statements that he believes undermine democratic principles. While expressing faith in the judiciary, Pawar expressed disappointment in the CJI’s remarks. He called for the removal of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and urged Rahul Gandhi to take constitutional action against the CJI.

In addition, Pawar condemned the Delhi Police for their handling of the protests and alleged violence against peaceful demonstrators, especially women and students. He accused the police of framing young protesters by bringing in damaged vehicles to falsely implicate them. Pawar questioned the integrity of the police personnel and criticized their use of force, particularly against female students and peaceful protesters.
