Popular TV actress Rupali Ganguly expressed her disappointment with the Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal, stating that it is not the Bengal she remembers from her childhood. Ganguly, known for her role in ‘Anupamaa,’ revealed her hope for a BJP government in Bengal, alleging mistreatment of Hindus under the current TMC administration.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Ganguly shared her daily prayers to Goddess Durga for the BJP to govern Bengal. She highlighted the oppression faced by Hindus in the state under the TMC rule, mentioning that her own family felt intimidated to vote due to the situation.
Accusing the Mamata government of negligence in the R.G. Kar Medical College case, Ganguly criticized the lack of action taken, suggesting that the Dean should have been removed rather than just transferred. She emphasized the need for a change in governance, expressing her disappointment with Mamata Banerjee’s leadership and urging the people of Bengal to vote for their future.
