The XVI Russia–India Business Dialogue in Moscow attracted over 1,250 participants, affirming the ongoing development of Russia–India cooperation and joint business projects. Noteworthy discussions at the event included addressing trade issues, exploring new opportunities for balanced bilateral trade, and emphasizing logistics and financial resilience. The dialogue also delved into industrial cooperation, import substitution, and collaboration in energy, technology, and innovation.
Organized by the Indian Business Alliance, the Business Council for Cooperation with India, the Moscow government, and the Roscongress Foundation, the event highlighted the significance of joint projects in various sectors such as industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, and the digital economy. Sergey Cheremin, Moscow government Minister, praised the growing business activity and practical focus of Russia–India cooperation, noting over 50 joint business events in the past year.
Indian Business Alliance (IBA) President Sammy Kotwani underscored the practical approach of Indian companies towards collaboration with Russia, emphasizing the event’s role in advancing strategic partnership through concrete projects. With more than 1,250 registered participants and active engagement from Russian regions, the dialogue showcased a high level of trust and long-term cooperation interest. Alexey Valkov, Deputy Director of the Roscongress Foundation, highlighted the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum’s significance as a crucial international platform for practical cooperation, especially in fostering Russia–India dialogue.
