Ruthuparna Vivek and Samuel Jacob emerged victorious in the cars and bikes categories, respectively, during Round 3 of the MSCK fmsci Indian National Hill Climb Championship at Hampi Hills in Karnataka. The event, which saw a record 113 entries, was organized by the Motorsports Academy of Vijayanagar and supported by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports and Karnataka Tourism.
Ruthuparna, a 26-year-old from Chikmagalur, dominated the competition by clinching wins in the 1151–1450cc Pro-Stock Petrol class and the Unrestricted category. Meanwhile, Bijapur’s Kavita Desai excelled in the Ladies class for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
In the two-wheelers segment, Samuel Jacob from Udupi showcased exceptional skill by winning the premier Unrestricted class. Other notable winners included Darpan Darshan, Madhu Sudhan, Suhail Ahmed, and Vikas M in various categories across two-wheelers and cars.
Race Directors Santosh H M and Rohit Gowda expressed satisfaction with the event’s success, noting the increasing popularity of hill climb motorsport in India. The winners were honored by Deputy Director of Tourism Prabhulinga.
