Congress leader Sachin Pilot criticized the cancellation of Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination in Madhya Pradesh, calling it unjust to the democratic process. He also expressed concerns about farmers’ hardships and condemned the mishandling of the NEET paper leak issue by the Union government. Pilot made these statements during a farmers’ conference and a ceremony honoring the late Congress leader Rajesh Pilot in Karauli district.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot highlighted Rajesh Pilot’s dedication to public service, inspired by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He emphasized the importance of politicians focusing on public service rather than personal gain. Pilot praised Rajesh Pilot’s commitment to the Congress party and his principled decision-making during his tenure as Union Minister of State for Home Affairs.

Sachin Pilot strongly criticized the cancellation of Meenakshi Natarajan’s nomination and accused the BJP government of weakening democratic institutions. He expressed worries about the challenges faced by farmers, citing rising input costs and inadequate government support. Pilot also condemned the NEET paper leak, stating that it has negatively impacted students and their families, with the government failing to take responsibility for the issue.
