Congress leader Sachin Pilot responded strongly to BJP’s Radha Mohan Das Agrawal’s comments in Tonk, calling them a political distraction. Pilot, in Sikar, highlighted a completed Rs 150 crore bridge from his tenure awaiting inauguration.
Pilot criticized the BJP’s behavior during Nitin Nabin’s visit to Rajasthan, accusing them of hindering development projects for political motives. He emphasized his commitment to restoring the Congress government in Rajasthan, brushing off personal attacks.
Stressing his dedication to the Congress cause, Pilot disregarded personal criticisms, likening his focus to Arjuna’s determination in the Mahabharata. He urged for a thorough investigation into allegations in the MLA-engineering manpower case in Sri Ganganagar.
Pilot expressed optimism about the Congress’s performance in upcoming elections, citing strong showings in states he campaigned in like West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Assam. He also voiced support for the Women’s Reservation Bill, indicating the party’s readiness for its passage in Parliament.
