Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Majithia criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for altering his statements regarding a video showing sacrilege against the Guru Sahiban and Guru Granth Sahib. Majithia accused the Chief Minister of continuously changing his narrative to defend himself, with the latest claim being that the person in the video was wearing a mask.

Majithia highlighted that various explanations had been offered by Mann, from attributing the video to artificial intelligence to denying his presence in it. He urged Mann to stop fabricating stories and instead seek forgiveness from the Akal Takht. Majithia also called for a thorough investigation into the matter, including the alleged involvement of certain police officers in manipulating forensic reports.

The SAD leader demanded action against the implicated officers and sought clarification from AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal regarding the unfolding situation. He emphasized the need for transparency and accountability, pointing towards potential attempts to disrupt communal harmony in Punjab by external influences.
