Sadhvi Prem Baisa, aged 23, was buried on Friday at her ashram in Pareu village, Balotra, following her sudden demise. The burial ceremony, conducted in accordance with religious customs, saw a large gathering of sadhus, saints, and devotees participating. Bhajans and mantras were recited, and the samadhi was revered as part of the rituals.
Prem Baisa had been admitted to a private hospital in Jodhpur on Wednesday, where she passed away shortly after arrival. Her father, Veeram Nath, mentioned that she had only a mild cold and sore throat before being administered an injection at the ashram, leading to a rapid deterioration in her health. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the matter and urged for transparency in the medical report.
Following her demise, an alleged suicide note emerged, adding to the ongoing controversy. The mortal remains of the Sadhvi were brought back to Pareu village, with her father visibly distraught during the burial proceedings. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death are pending, while an old blackmailing case involving the Sadhvi has resurfaced, raising questions about her father and the ashram administration.
