Bollywood star Salman Khan participated in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) Mumbai Vyakhyanmala event, marking the organization’s centenary with a two-day lecture series titled ‘100 Years of Sangh Journey: New Horizons’. Amid tight security, Salman’s presence drew an enthusiastic crowd eager to capture moments with the actor.
Veteran actresses Hema Malini and Poonam Dhillon also graced the occasion, as per the RSS Facebook page, emphasizing the event’s focus on reflecting the organization’s societal impact. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat highlighted Salman’s influence on college students, who emulate his style without fully understanding the underlying values he represents.
Additionally, Salman recently surprised everyone by joining Jackie Shroff’s birthday celebrations at short notice. Filmmaker Subhash Ghai shared a photo of Salman and Jackie, with Salman sporting a moustache possibly for his upcoming war drama ‘Battle of Galwan’. Ghai praised Salman for his respectful and gracious demeanor, acknowledging his swift response to the birthday invitation.
Salman is currently engrossed in the film ‘Battle of Galwan’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, based on the 2020 India-China border clash at Galwan. The project also features Chitrangda Singh, Abhilash Chaudhary, and Ankur Bhatia in pivotal roles.
