Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock has expressed her support for the use of artificial intelligence in the entertainment sector, emphasizing the need to utilize it in a positive and innovative manner. Bullock highlighted the importance of embracing AI in movies and television, particularly in response to AI-generated trailers for Practical Magic 2.

During the CNBC Changemakers Summit, Bullock humorously remarked on the AI-generated content featuring her, acknowledging its presence and the necessity to comprehend and leverage it constructively. She cautioned about the potential misuse of AI for malicious purposes and stressed the importance of approaching it with caution.

Warner Bros Motion Pictures Co-Chair and CEO Pam Abdy also acknowledged the trend of fan-generated videos, expressing a mix of reservation and excitement towards the audience’s engagement with movie content. Bullock, alongside Nicole Kidman, is set to reunite for Practical Magic 2, following their previous collaboration in the 1998 romantic fantasy film.

Bullock’s versatile career includes a wide range of genres, from comedy to drama, with notable films like Speed, Miss Congeniality, Gravity, and Ocean’s 8. Her upcoming project, Practical Magic 2, marks a significant reunion with Kidman and a continuation of their on-screen partnership.
