National Award-winning actor and filmmaker Saurabh Shukla believes that honesty is crucial for meaningful relationships, particularly in love. He stresses the importance of being an “open book” in a relationship, stating that concealing the truth can lead to more harm than the truth itself. Saurabh highlights that transparency strengthens the foundation of a relationship, enabling partners to truly understand each other.
Reflecting on love and truth, Saurabh recalls a line by poet Rumi: “Light always enters through the crack in the wall.” He explains that in his film’s story, the revelation of a truth, though initially disruptive, ultimately brings illumination and a deeper understanding between partners. Once everything is revealed, partners can fully comprehend each other, including their strengths and flaws, leading to a more authentic and truthful relationship.
