Sammar Gajjar’s impressive 147 off 135 balls led Saurashtra to a 31-run victory over Railways in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Saurashtra posted 294/8 with Gajjar’s stellar innings, supported by Hetvik Kotak’s 37 runs and Prerak Mankad’s 28. Railways, in response, fell short at 263 all out.

Railways’ Upendra Yadav fought with 86 runs, and Ashutosh Sharma’s quick 65 were not enough. Saurashtra’s Ankur Panwar and Mankad took three wickets each, with Chirag Jani claiming two. Gajjar’s outstanding performance earned him the player of the match title.

India’s Axar Patel scored his first List A century, an unbeaten 130 off 111 balls, guiding Gujarat to a narrow seven-run win against Andhra. Patel’s innings included 10 boundaries and five sixes, forming a crucial partnership with Vishal Jayswal. In another match, Parth Vats starred with both bat and ball, securing Haryana’s victory over Odisha.
