Authorities in Begusarai have increased security measures at the Civil Court following a recent bomb threat. The administration and security agencies have taken swift action to ensure the safety of the premises and surrounding areas. Police and administrative teams have cordoned off the court complex in response to the alert.
Additional police personnel and security forces have been deployed to conduct thorough checks on all individuals entering the court premises. The Superintendent of Police of Begusarai, Manish, personally visited the court complex to oversee the security arrangements. Bomb disposal and dog squads are actively conducting search operations within the court campus under his supervision.
Security teams are inspecting various locations within the court complex, including court buildings and judges’ chambers, to ensure comprehensive safety measures. Authorities are closely monitoring the area for any suspicious activities while increasing police patrols to prevent any potential incidents. The district administration has confirmed that the situation is being investigated and is currently under control.
Despite initial panic among lawyers and visitors due to the threat, police have restored order and normalcy in the area. This recent incident follows a similar bomb threat received by the Begusarai Civil Court earlier this year, which also caused disruption before authorities confirmed the absence of any explosive device. Notably, other district courts in places like Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Purnea, and Darbhanga have also faced similar threats in recent weeks.
