Senior BJD Leader Haji Md. Ayub Khan Passes Away at 78

Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader and former MLA Haji Md. Ayub Khan, aged 78, passed away at his residence in Kantabanji, Odisha’s Balangir district. Ayub Khan, a respected political figure, first entered the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2004 as an independent candidate before joining BJD.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and BJD President Naveen Patnaik expressed deep sorrow over Khan’s demise. Khan, known for his service to the people, was hailed as a skilled organizer and compassionate leader by his political peers. Deputy CMs Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida also mourned his passing, offering prayers for his soul and strength to his family.
