In a tragic incident in Jilehari village, Chhindwara district, seven family members were struck by lightning while working in their field. The sudden hostile weather with dark clouds, strong winds, and heavy rainfall led to the lightning strike. Sadly, one young woman lost her life during treatment, while the other six remain critically injured in the hospital.
The lightning strike caused chaos in the field, prompting nearby villagers to rush to their aid. Despite immediate medical attention, the young woman succumbed to her injuries, leaving the family and village in mourning. The remaining six victims are still receiving medical care, with some in critical condition.
