Legendary actress Shabana Azmi recently shared a glimpse of her New Year celebrations on Instagram. She posted a picture from a dinner gathering with friends, mentioning it was her first January night spent indulging in food.
Prior to this, Shabana Azmi spent the end of 2025 in London, where she was joined by her close friend Dia Mirza. The two actresses shared a fun moment captured in a photo, with Dia commenting on Shabana’s post about missing a stunning picture of Shabana by the window.
Saba Pataudi, sister of Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, also joined in the social media interaction, expressing warm wishes for their trip. Shabana and Dia often share glimpses of their close bond online, with Dia recently receiving a special gift from Shabana in the form of a beautiful yellow saree.
In her post, Dia mentioned that wearing the saree made her feel like a representation of everything Shabana’s mother, Shaukat Azmi, stood for. She also included excerpts from the poem “Aurat” by Shabana’s father, Kaifi Azmi, dedicated to his wife. Dia expressed gratitude to Shabana for enriching her life and stated her intention to cherish and wear the saree always.
