Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, known for his captivating performances, surprisingly confessed that he has not seen certain of his acclaimed films like “Deewana”, “Swades”, and “Pardes.” During an interview on “Yaaron Ki Baraat,” Shah Rukh shared that despite the films’ success, he has never viewed them in their entirety, neither in theaters nor at home.
When questioned by actor Riteish Deshmukh about any released movies he hasn’t watched, Shah Rukh revealed that there are several such films in his repertoire. He mentioned that although he has glimpsed parts of them while dubbing or editing, he has never sat through a full screening.
Offering insight into his perspective, Shah Rukh explained that he finds it challenging to watch his own work after knowing the intricate process of creating the films and receiving positive feedback from audiences. Despite this, fans can anticipate his return to the big screen in the upcoming movie “King,” directed by Siddharth Anand.
Scheduled for release on December 24 this year, “King” promises a grand cinematic experience, as hinted in the announcement video with the tagline “This Christmas, fear wears the crown.” Additionally, a teaser released on Shah Rukh’s 60th birthday in November 2025 showcased him in a fierce role as a mercenary, with the film also marking his first collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan.
