Actress Shilpa Shetty, known for her dedication to fitness, continues to impress at 50 with her rigorous workout routines and healthy eating habits. Recently, she demonstrated the Supine contralateral stability drill, emphasizing its benefits in testing core stability and neuromuscular coordination.
The drill involves lying on one’s back, bending one leg at 90 degrees, and keeping the other straight while holding a foam roller between the legs. By slowly lowering the legs to each side with trunk control, this exercise challenges balance and strength.
Apart from intense workouts, Shilpa incorporates yoga into her fitness regimen, sharing glimpses on social media. In a recent post, she showcased variations of Vyaghrasana, highlighting its advantages in enhancing balance, strengthening various muscle groups, and promoting hip mobility.
Shilpa also cautioned fitness enthusiasts against attempting the asana if they have back or knee issues. On the professional front, she is set to appear in “KD: The Devil,” directed by Prem, alongside Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, and others.
