The Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) remarked on the recent power shift in Tamil Nadu, highlighting Vijay’s party, TVK, winning the state’s mandate. Despite this change, challenges lie ahead as Vijay’s government faces a narrow majority and potential stability issues due to central influences from leaders like PM Modi and HM Shah.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister was notably patriotic, featuring nationalistic symbols like ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jana Gana Mana’. Vijay, in his inaugural address, connected emotionally with the public, portraying himself as a common man dedicated to serving all citizens of Tamil Nadu.
Chief Minister Vijay wasted no time in taking action, initiating policies such as providing free electricity to domestic consumers and addressing pressing issues like substance abuse among youth. The formation of the new government, supported by the Congress party, has stirred political ripples, leading to the DMK’s exit from the INDIA bloc and potential isolation in national politics.
The Thackeray camp advised outgoing CM Stalin to avoid aligning with the BJP and cautioned against succumbing to the influences of PM Modi and Shah for the greater good of the state and the nation.
