Shiv Sena-UBT MP Sanjay Raut announced an agitation at Mumbai’s Dadar Hanuman Temple on Sunday. The protest, led by Uddhav Thackeray, aims to address alleged fund misappropriation at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple. Raut emphasized the importance of addressing the theft of ornaments and donations meant for the temple.
Raut criticized the BJP and RSS, alleging their inaction during past struggles for the Ram Temple. He questioned the responsibility for the reported thefts and urged supporters of Lord Ram to join the protest. The Shiv Sena-UBT MP called for accountability and immediate action against those involved in the alleged embezzlement.
Referring to the RSS General Secretary’s call for patience, Raut questioned the need for restraint given the sacrifices made for the Ram Temple. He expressed dissatisfaction with the cautionary statements and demanded a thorough investigation into the alleged temple donation theft. Raut also called for the dismissal of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
