Shiv Sena (UBT) extended its best wishes to Sunetra Pawar, who is set to become Maharashtra’s first woman Deputy Chief Minister, succeeding her late husband, Ajit Pawar. Priyanka Chaturvedi, a Shiv Sena (UBT) MP, praised Sunetra Pawar’s dedication and commitment, hoping she continues Ajit Pawar’s legacy for Maharashtra’s progress.
Chaturvedi refrained from commenting on the political circumstances post-Ajit Pawar’s demise, emphasizing Sunetra Pawar’s sincere discharge of duties for Maharashtra’s growth and development. Sunetra Pawar was unanimously elected as the NCP Legislature Party leader, with support from party members, and is scheduled to take oath in the evening at Lok Bhavan.
Sunetra Pawar, still recovering from her husband’s tragic death, consented to lead the Legislature Party, becoming the state’s first woman Deputy Chief Minister. Maharashtra NCP chief Sunil Tatkare urged party legislators to attend the legislative party meeting, where Sunetra Pawar’s appointment was confirmed.
