The shooting for director Yuvaraj Chinnasamy’s romantic entertainer ‘Haiku’ has started in Idukki, Kerala. The film stars Aegan, Femina George, and Sridevi Apalla in lead roles. Renowned filmmaker Ram, known for movies like ‘Peranbu’ and ‘Taramani’, inaugurated the shoot and wished the team luck.
Produced by Vision Cinema House, the movie will also have screenplay contributions from Hari Haran Ram, who directed the acclaimed Tamil film ‘Joe’. The actors underwent a 30-day rehearsal supervised by acting trainer Rajesh, recognized for training actors in films like ‘Madharasi’ and ‘Chittha’.
Vision Cinema House announced the start of filming through an animation video on X timeline. The video hints at a storyline set in an educational institution involving the three main characters. Aegan, Femina George, and Sridevi Apalla play the lead roles, known for their previous works in Tamil cinema.
Netflix has already secured the digital streaming rights for ‘Haiku’ even before its completion, as proudly revealed by the film’s makers. The movie will feature cinematography by Priyesh GuruSwamy and music by Vijai Bulganin, renowned for his work in ‘Court’ and ‘Baby’, with Sakthi Pranesh as the editor.
