Actress Shruti Haasan has taken on the role of narrator for “Silent Screams: The Lost Girls of Telangana,” a Telugu crime documentary that uncovers unsettling and often overlooked stories. Haasan expressed a deep sense of responsibility towards the project, emphasizing the urgent need for awareness and discussion.

In her involvement with the documentary, Haasan highlighted the importance of addressing ongoing issues faced by those affected, stating, “Silent Screams” is not just a recounting of past events but a reflection of the continued struggles of these individuals. She stressed the necessity of initiating conversations on these matters without delay, as a tribute to silenced women.

Through her impactful narration, Shruti Haasan leverages her influence and platform to bring attention to narratives that demand recognition, fostering a significant discourse on a crucial societal concern. Additionally, Haasan shared relatable experiences on social media, shedding light on the common dilemma faced during visits to the dentist.

Shruti Haasan is currently preparing for the highly anticipated sequel, “Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.” The upcoming installment follows the success of the original drama, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” released in 2023. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the neo-noir action thriller stars Prabhas in the lead role, supported by a talented ensemble cast in a narrative set in the fictional city-state of Khansaar, exploring themes of friendship and monarchy.
