Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang recently visited the revered Manakamana Temple in Nepal, describing it as a spiritually uplifting experience. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to pray for the welfare of people and the progress of the state and nation. The temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati and perched atop a commanding hill, provided a serene and awe-inspiring ambiance that left the Chief Minister spiritually enriched.
During his pilgrimage, CM Tamang prayed for the well-being, happiness, and prosperity of the people of Sikkim. He also extended his prayers for the upliftment of the less fortunate in society and for peace, development, and progress at both state and national levels. Embracing the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” which promotes global unity, he sought universal peace and harmony beyond borders.
