The President of the Singapore India Business Forum, Prasoon Mukherjee, met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Chandigarh to discuss industrial investment, trade cooperation, and opportunities for Singaporean companies in the state. The Chief Minister welcomed the Forum and Singaporean investors to explore investment prospects in Haryana, emphasizing the government’s efforts to boost industries and provide a favorable investment climate.
CM Saini highlighted the government’s transparent policies, streamlined procedures, and enhanced infrastructure to attract investments, assuring full support and protection of investors’ interests. He emphasized that expanding industries in the state would generate employment opportunities and bolster Haryana’s economic growth. Discussions also included a proposal for a business center of the Singapore India Business Forum in Gurugram, aiming to facilitate Singaporean companies in establishing offices and investing in Haryana, thereby enhancing bilateral trade ties.
Mukherjee extended an invitation to CM Saini to visit Singapore, expressing enthusiasm among investors associated with the Forum and the Singapore government to explore investment avenues in Haryana across various sectors. The meeting, attended by senior officials including the Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi and others, focused on strengthening trade relations and fostering future cooperation between Singapore and Haryana.
