Singer Papon, known for popular songs like “Jiyein Kyun” and “Moh Moh Ke Dhaage,” is marking 22 years of marriage with his wife Shweta Mahanta. Sharing a humorous post on Instagram, Papon posted a picture of them on a scooty in Goa, jokingly mentioning, “22 years of tying the knot, 22 years of her being right.” Despite being together for 29 years, their relationship is still full of adventures and everyday moments. Papon expressed gratitude for his wife’s constant support and looks forward to many more adventures ahead.
Papon began his musical journey in 1998 with an Assamese song and later released his first album in 2004. His Bollywood debut came in 2006 with the song “Om mantra.” Over the years, he delivered hits like “Jiyein Kyun” from the movie Dum Maro Dum in 2011 and “Bulleya” from Sultan in 2016. Papon’s 2018 song “Baba Bolta Hain Bas Ho Gaya” from Sanju reflects on the real versus reel life of Sanju.
