Fico shared a video capturing Modi’s departure from the hotel in Slovakia, where he was seen conversing with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Fico bid farewell to Modi as he left for France, emphasizing the significance of mutual respect in their diplomatic ties.
Modi described his visit to Slovakia as historic and fruitful, aiming to enhance bilateral relations through the outcomes achieved during the trip. He expressed appreciation for the warm reception from the Slovakian government and people, thanking Prime Minister Fico for his hospitality.
During the visit, Modi held discussions with his Slovakian counterpart and President Peter Pellegrini, focusing on various areas such as manufacturing, transport, innovation, investment, energy, and digital technology. Both leaders acknowledged the potential for closer cooperation and people-to-people connections.
Slovakia honored Modi with the Order of the White Double Cross (1st Class), marking the 33rd international accolade conferred upon him by a foreign country.
