In a rain-affected match reduced to 15 overs per side, Murshidabad Kings posted a competitive 134/7, led by Deepanshu’s quick 47 runs. Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal shone for Malda, taking 3 wickets for 18 runs to restrict the opposition.
Sobisco Smashers Malda comfortably chased down the target, finishing at 138/3 with eight balls to spare. Writam Porel’s aggressive 50 off 29 balls and Abhimanyu Easwaran’s unbeaten 48 off 31 deliveries anchored Malda’s successful run chase. Despite Aditya Sharma’s two wickets for Murshidabad Kings, Malda emerged victorious with ease.
