Sohail recounted the advice that changed everything, with Seema’s father emphasizing a Hindu wedding and seeking family blessings. Despite initial uncertainty, Sohail eventually approached his father, Salim Khan, leading to the families meeting and paving the way for the wedding.
Their love story began at a wedding in Delhi, but faced disapproval from Seema’s parents, causing a brief separation. Fate brought them together again at a Mumbai restaurant, where they reconnected. Sohail respected Seema’s engagement but their reunion followed Seema’s realization about her feelings.
Describing the events as “filmy,” Sohail shared that once the families united, the wedding swiftly followed. The couple tied the knot within a week of deciding to get married. Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh, who married in 1998 and have two sons, Nirvaan and Yohan, divorced in 2022 after more than two decades of marriage. They now co-parent their children and are both contestants on the reality show, Alliance.
