Akhilesh Kumar, the son of Janata Dal (United) MLA Vibha Devi, tragically lost his life in a car accident in Bihar’s Nawada district. He was also the younger son of former Minister Rajballabh Prasad Yadav. The accident occurred late at night when his car veered out of control and collided with a Banyan tree at a high speed.
The Station House Officer of the Mufassil police station confirmed the accident and mentioned that Akhilesh Kumar was initially taken to Patna for advanced medical treatment. Following the incident, an investigation was launched by the police to determine the cause of the crash. Officials are currently gathering statements from the deceased’s family members.
Reports indicate that Akhilesh Kumar was on his way from Pathar English village when the accident happened. Despite locals rushing to help and transporting him to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries at Medanta Hospital in Patna. Survived by three sons, his family members were devastated upon hearing the tragic news.
His elder brother, Eklavya Yadav, recounted the events, stating, “He left home in his vehicle. Just near the house, the vehicle crashed into a banyan tree. He sustained critical injuries. We admitted him to Medanta Hospital in Patna, but he could not be saved.” The district of Nawada mourns the loss, with preparations underway for his final rites in his ancestral village.
Family members, including MLA Vibha Devi, are deeply shocked by the sudden demise of Akhilesh Kumar. The district is enveloped in an atmosphere of grief as they remember him for his friendly demeanor and active involvement in social and community activities.
