Corbin Bosch and Anrich Nortje took five wickets as South Africa defeated the UAE by six wickets in the Men’s T20 World Cup. Dewald Brevis and Ryan Rickelton’s quick 30s helped South Africa secure victory and maintain their unbeaten streak in the tournament. South Africa, with four wins in the group stage, will now face India in the Super Eights.

Under cloudy skies, Bosch and Nortje shone with the ball, restricting UAE to 122/6. South Africa’s aggressive start in the powerplay, with 11 boundaries, set the tone for the chase. Despite losing early wickets, Rickelton and Brevis guided South Africa to victory in 15.4 overs.

Kagiso Rabada and George Linde played crucial roles in South Africa’s bowling effort. UAE’s innings lost momentum after a strong start, with Alishan Sharafu’s 45 being the top score. South Africa’s disciplined bowling limited UAE to 25 runs in the last five overs, sealing the win.

South Africa’s batting began after a rain delay, with Markram and de Kock providing a solid start. Rickelton and Brevis then accelerated the innings with aggressive strokeplay. Despite some hiccups, South Africa comfortably chased down the target, entering the Super Eights with a comprehensive win.
