He also extended gratitude for the warm reception during his State Visit to India.
During his visit, President Lee attended a banquet hosted by President Murmu, where he praised her courage and vision that contribute to India’s confidence today. He emphasized the vast potential for collaboration between South Korea and India beyond political and economic realms, underscoring the importance of their partnership in building a shared future.
President Murmu, in turn, welcomed President Lee at Rashtrapati Bhavan, highlighting the ambitious agenda set for bilateral cooperation across various sectors such as trade, infrastructure, digital cooperation, education, and cultural exchanges. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries also participated in the discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in trade, technology, defence, and people-to-people ties.
President Lee’s visit culminated in the signing of several Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) and frameworks to boost economic, trade, and technological collaboration between the two nations. These agreements are expected to invigorate the bilateral partnership and create new opportunities for both countries.
