The eighth leg of the Indian Athletics Series in Pune, Maharashtra, witnessed a focus on sprinters. Air Force sprinter Harjit Singh stole the show by clocking 10.17 seconds to win the men’s 100m race, with Rushiprasad Desai and Laukik Anant Melge following closely.
In the U20 men’s 100m event, Aditya Pisal from Maharashtra showcased dominance with a winning time of 10.23 seconds. The competition saw impressive performances across various categories, highlighting the talent and dedication of the athletes.
Results from the event included notable achievements in different disciplines such as the 400m, 1500m, 10,000m, hurdles, high jump, triple jump, long jump, shot put, and javelin throw. Athletes from various states and organizations displayed their skills and determination on the track and field.
