Filmmaker SS Rajamouli commended Skyroot Aerospace for achieving a significant milestone in India’s space exploration with the successful launch of Vikram-1, the nation’s inaugural privately developed orbital rocket. Rajamouli took to social media to applaud the Hyderabad-based team responsible for this feat, emphasizing the role of young talents in realizing this ambitious mission. He expressed pride in the team’s dedication, hailing the accomplishment as a testament to the potential of young India.

Several South Indian film personalities, including actors Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu, also lauded Skyroot Aerospace for its historic achievement. Mahesh Babu extended his congratulations, emphasizing the pride in India’s progress in space exploration. He praised the young team at Skyroot Aerospace for their remarkable achievement, highlighting the successful orbit of Vikram-1 on its inaugural mission as a reflection of the brilliance and perseverance within the private space sector.

Vikram-1, the first privately constructed orbital-class rocket in India, was launched on July 18 by Skyroot Aerospace, a space startup based in Hyderabad. The maiden test flight, named ‘Mission Aagaman,’ took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. Designed to deploy small satellites weighing up to 350 kg into low Earth orbit (LEO), Vikram-1’s initial mission aims to position a payload into a 450-km orbit with a 60-degree inclination.
