SSLC Class 10 Board Exams Begin in Karnataka with Over 8.6 Lakh Students

The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC), class 10 Board exams started in Karnataka with 8,65,988 students participating. Minister for School Education and Literacy, S. Madhu Bangarappa, visited an examination center in Bengaluru to wish the students good luck. Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, H.D. Kumaraswamy, also extended his best wishes to the students via social media.

Statewide SSLC exams will run from March 18 to April 2. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah encouraged students to face the exams without fear, emphasizing the government’s provision of multiple exam opportunities. School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa highlighted the government’s efforts to reduce exam stress and financial burden on students.

Leader of the Opposition R. Ashoka emphasized the importance of SSLC exams and urged parents not to pressure students excessively. He also called for strict action against those spreading fake question papers.
