As Mumbai prepares for the T20 Mumbai League 2026 and the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League, star captains gathered for a grand season launch event. The T20 Mumbai League, since its start in 2018, has been a platform for emerging cricket talent. This season will showcase global stars and rising players in both the men’s and women’s competitions. Ajinkya Naik, President of Mumbai Cricket Association, highlighted the opportunity for young players to learn from established stars like Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur.
Rajdip Gupta, Chairman of the League Governing Council, expressed gratitude for the support in launching the women’s tournament. The event included fireside chats with captains and vice-captains, offering insights into their tournament preparations. The tournament aims to spotlight the city’s top cricketing talents over 13 days of intense competition.
