A mega job fair for 2026 took place at the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre in Dimapur, Nagaland. The event, organized by the Nagaland Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM) in partnership with various entities, aimed to offer employment opportunities across different sectors. Job seekers had the chance to interact with potential employers from local and international markets.
The NSEDM portal was launched during the inaugural program by Advisor to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Chairman of IDAN, Abu Metha. Metha commended the organizing team for their efforts in making the job fair a reality, providing avenues for numerous youth to explore career prospects. He emphasized the significance of honesty and authenticity during interviews, highlighting the importance of continuous learning in today’s digital age.
Metha encouraged youth to leverage digital tools for skill enhancement and competitiveness. He stressed the value of character and integrity for long-term growth, noting that a first job serves as a stepping stone towards future success. The event covered various sectors such as healthcare, technology, hospitality, and retail, offering a platform for job seekers to engage with recruiters and gain exposure to diverse industries.
