Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts Ltd. and Green Gold Animation have announced a partnership to create animated shows and films. Ghai believes that the fusion of animation, gaming, and AI will lead to a billion-dollar industry in the future. He emphasized that these technologies will be instrumental in narrating stories from India.

Ghai expressed his optimism during an exclusive conversation, highlighting the potential of AI, animation, and gaming. He emphasized that the convergence of these sectors will revolutionize the entertainment industry, particularly in India. Ghai envisions Indian narratives being brought to life through animation and gaming, with AI playing a crucial role.

When questioned about the pace of animation development in India compared to Hollywood, Ghai emphasized the rapid technological advancements in the country. He noted that India, despite being a young nation, has witnessed significant progress in technology over the past two decades. Ghai stressed the transformative potential of Indian talent in shaping global trends.

Under the memorandum of understanding (MOU), Mukta Arts and Green Gold Animation will collaborate to produce multiple animated intellectual properties inspired by Mukta Arts’ iconic films. The partnership aims to create animated universes based on classic stories from Mukta Arts’ renowned portfolio, such as “Kalicharan,” “Karz,” and “Ram Lakhan.” Rajiv Chilaka, Founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, aiming to engage contemporary global audiences through these legendary narratives.
