The ISRO Chairman, Dr. V. Narayanan, hailed the successful flight test of Vikram-1 as a significant achievement for India’s space industry. He noted the substantial job creation and growth opportunities generated by such companies, which were previously unimaginable.
Dr. Narayanan underscored ISRO’s progress on various national missions, mentioning the development of multiple satellites and the advancement of projects like Chandrayaan-4, Chandrayaan-5, and India’s space station program. The ISRO Chairman expressed optimism about the increased participation of private enterprises contributing to India’s global standing in space exploration and supporting ISRO’s future missions.
Addressing the media post the successful orbital mission, Dr. Narayanan lauded the company’s achievement in developing an orbital launch vehicle and achieving mission success within just eight years of its establishment. This rapid progress reflects a remarkable feat in India’s space endeavors, showcasing the country’s prowess in the space domain.
