Actor Sunny Deol recently posted a tranquil scene from his trip to Kutch on Instagram. In the photo, he is seen admiring the peaceful waters as the sky transitions into soft hues of dawn or dusk. Sunny captioned the post as “Road to heaven. Kutch,” capturing the serenity of the landscape.
Sunny Deol’s latest film, “Border 2,” is based on the 1971 war and real events. The movie is a presentation by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series, in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. Supported by a strong production team including Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, the film is directed by Anurag Singh.
Following the success of J.P. Dutta’s blockbuster “Border” in 1997, which featured an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, and others, Sunny Deol is set to appear in ‘Lahore 1947’. Scheduled for release on August 13, the film marks the collaboration of Sunny Deol, director Rajkumar Santoshi, and producer Aamir Khan for the first time.
‘Lahore 1947’ also stars Shabana Azmi, Preiti Zinta, and Karan Deol, with music composed by AR Rahman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar. The movie, set against the backdrop of the Partition of India in 1947, explores human relationships affected by communal violence and displacement.
