Sunrisers Hyderabad’s bowling coach, Varun Aaron, commended Eshan Malinga for his outstanding performance against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), labeling him as an underrated T20 bowler with versatile abilities.
During the match in Hyderabad, SRH defended 194 runs against CSK, with Malinga playing a pivotal role by taking 3-29 and earning the Player of the Match title for his crucial contributions.
Aaron highlighted Malinga’s skills, emphasizing his effectiveness in the death overs, ability to bowl at high speeds, deliver sharp bouncers, and execute perfect yorkers, making him a complete T20 bowler with immense potential.
Apart from Malinga, Nitish Kumar Reddy bowled his full quota of four overs for the first time in the IPL, securing figures of 2-31, while Sakib Hussain and Shivang Kumar also contributed with a wicket each.
