Entrepreneur Kritika Shah shared that her family shifted a planned overseas wedding to Surat after the PM’s plea to control gold imports and promote domestic travel. She emphasized the use of imitation jewellery over gold purchases, noting the quality and resemblance to real ornaments.
Architect Pranjal Patel mentioned changes in her family’s routine following the PM’s message. They now use public transport to cut fuel consumption and have canceled international trips.
