Arjun Tendulkar, the son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, tied the knot with entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok in a ceremony attended by notable personalities from the cricketing world.
Raina not only congratulated the newlyweds but also conveyed his best wishes to Sachin Tendulkar and his wife, Anjali Tendulkar. In an Instagram post, Raina shared a photo from the wedding where cricketer-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra was also seen posing with the couple.
Several prominent figures from Indian cricket, including MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh, and Venkatesh Prasad, among others, have also blessed the couple on their special day. International Cricket Council (ICC) chief Jay Shah graced the occasion and is set to attend the T20 World Cup 2026 semi-final between India and England at the Wankhede Stadium.
Arjun and Saaniya had a private engagement ceremony in August 2025 before their recent wedding. The wedding festivities commenced with traditional ceremonies and celebrations, including pre-wedding events like mehendi and sangeet, attended by former and current cricketers. Saaniya, Arjun’s wife, is a Mumbai-based entrepreneur from a prominent business family with a background in pet-care and animal welfare.
