Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, expressed that even the state administration in West Bengal is acknowledging the inevitable shift in the state’s political scenario and is adapting accordingly. Adhikari highlighted a recent incident where the police attempted to confiscate bamboo intended for his party’s political platform construction, emphasizing the changing climate in the state.
During a Ram Navami procession in Bhabanipur Assembly constituency, Adhikari, who is contesting against Mamata Banerjee, mentioned that the state’s administrative machinery is also recognizing the evolving situation and behaving more responsibly. Adhikari, a candidate from both Nandigram and Bhabanipur constituencies, led the procession that culminated near the Chief Minister’s residence.
Adhikari expressed confidence that post the Assembly elections, West Bengal will witness the establishment of “Ram Raj,” ensuring employment, food security, housing, and women’s safety for all residents. He is set to participate in additional Ram Navami processions in Howrah district later in the day, organized by various groups including the Vishva Hindu Parishad and Anjani Putra Sena.
