Suvendu Adhikari is all set to be sworn in as West Bengal’s inaugural BJP Chief Minister at Brigade Parade Ground on Saturday. Sadhus and BJP supporters present at the venue expressed joy, heralding the start of a “Sanatani government.” The atmosphere ahead of the swearing-in ceremony was filled with enthusiasm as supporters gathered to witness the historic event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s influence was lauded by a sadhu who stated that wherever Modi goes, the saffron flag is raised, earning him deep respect. Another sadhu mentioned the commencement of “Ram Rajya,” signifying the presence of sadhus at the event. Supporters echoed the sentiment of a new era with one stating, “Today, a Sanatani government is going to be formed,” emphasizing their commitment as Sanatanis.

The growing saffron wave in Bengal under PM Modi’s leadership was highlighted by a BJP supporter who likened Modi to a deity and India’s lion. The excitement among the attendees was palpable as they celebrated the significant moment. The transformation of Bengal into a saffron stronghold under Modi’s guidance was acknowledged by another BJP supporter, emphasizing the formation of a Sanatani government.

The swearing-in ceremony will witness the presence of notable figures including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president Nitin Nabin, Union ministers, and chief ministers of NDA-ruled states. Union Home Minister Amit Shah officially declared Suvendu Adhikari as West Bengal’s next Chief Minister, marking the initiation of the state’s first BJP-led government post-independence. Adhikari’s endorsement as the leader of the BJP’s legislature party in the West Bengal Assembly was confirmed during a meeting chaired by Shah with newly-elected BJP legislators post the state elections.
