In the 90th minute, he secured a 3-0 lead with another goal, capping off an impressive substitute appearance.
Expressing his excitement, Manzambi described his first career brace at the World Cup as incredible and mentioned that he would find it hard to sleep after such a memorable performance. At just 20 years old, he became the youngest Swiss player to score in a World Cup match since 1950. Additionally, he made history by being the first Swiss player to score a brace as a substitute and became the country’s youngest two-goal scorer in World Cup history.
