Tamil Nadu BJP has commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance style, emphasizing recent tech-focused initiatives like the WAVES Summit and AI Impact Summit as evidence of India’s push to excel in Artificial Intelligence globally. The party spokesperson, A.N.S. Prasad, lauded these summits as a testament to the PM’s forward-thinking approach in leading India through the AI revolution. These events are seen as vital in boosting India’s “Orange Economy,” merging creativity, digital sectors, innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth involvement.
Prasad highlighted the AI Impact Summit’s role in promoting inclusive innovation, ethical AI frameworks, and youth empowerment, signaling a shift towards responsible technological advancement. He pointed out that India’s youth are increasingly valuing leadership that fosters tech growth with social accountability. The government’s tech roadmap aims to create an ecosystem linking rural and urban talent, supporting startups, bolstering the gig economy, and promoting applications like smart agriculture, entertainment, gaming, and digital design.
The BJP representative stressed the significance of global partnerships, youth engagement, and policy discussions at these summits, positioning India as a key player in the global innovation landscape. In contrast, Prasad criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and his party for lacking a clear tech vision, accusing them of engaging in disruptive politics that hinder national progress. He noted the disparity between the Modi government’s focus on tech-driven progress and the Congress’s adherence to outdated political narratives.
Prasad concluded by asserting that India’s youth seek leadership focused on development and tech progress, emphasizing the importance of sustained innovation and digital transformation for the country’s future.
