The Tamil Nadu government has announced that the results of the Class 10 public examinations will be disclosed on May 20. This news comes as a relief to nearly nine lakh students in the state who have been eagerly awaiting their results. Schools are set to reopen on June 1 after the summer break, with teacher training for the revised curriculum scheduled from June 1 to June 3.
The Class 10 public exams took place from March 11 to April 6, with approximately nine lakh candidates participating, including both school students and private candidates. Following the exams, the evaluation of answer sheets was conducted at various centers across Tamil Nadu. Officials have completed the valuation process and are now in the final stages of data processing and result preparation.
Minister Rajmohan confirmed that the results will be officially released on May 20, with students being able to check their marks online by entering their registration number and date of birth on government websites. Additionally, preparations for the new academic year are in full swing, with schools gearing up to reopen on June 1 as planned and teacher training sessions for the revised textbooks scheduled from June 1 to June 3.
In a bid to enhance primary education, the minister had earlier launched new textbooks for students in Classes 1 to 3 as part of the state government’s curriculum initiatives. The focus remains on ensuring a smooth transition into the upcoming academic year for students and teachers alike.
